200 Messages, 10 Sales: How to Find Out Why

If 200 people message you in a month and 10 buy, you’ve probably asked yourself this.

What about the other 190?

Some asked the price and vanished. Some said yes and then nothing. And with a lot of them, you don’t even know when they went cold.

You know how much you sold. What you don’t know is why you didn’t sell more.

That’s exhausting. You work hard, people reach out, and you still feel something is slipping away without knowing what.

I get it. It’s one of the things I hear most from business owners.

Why the monthly total isn’t enough

Almost everyone keeps track in their head. Or looks at what came in at the end of the month, and that’s it.

That tells you whether the month was good or bad. It doesn’t tell you why.

Of the 200 who messaged you, how many asked for an appointment? Of those, how many showed up? And how many actually bought?

Is there something people ask about all the time that almost nobody ends up buying?

If you can’t answer those questions, you’re guessing.

And when you guess, you do the usual: drop your price, post more, or try to reply faster. Sometimes you get it right. A lot of the time you fix something that wasn’t broken, and the real problem stays exactly where it was.

The obvious fix? Track everything in a spreadsheet.

You try it for a week. Then it falls off, because running the business already takes everything you’ve got.

How I show you where they leave

Picture an auto repair shop in Florida.

A client messages on WhatsApp. They ask how much a brake job costs. They get an answer. They book. They come in. They get the final quote. And they decide whether to go ahead.

It looks like one thing, “making a sale.” But it’s six separate steps. And people can leave at any of them for a different reason.

If most people leave right after seeing the price, the problem is how the price gets shared. If they book but don’t show up, a reminder is missing. If they show up but turn down the quote, the conversation at the shop is what needs a look.

Three different problems. Three different fixes. And from the outside, all three look the same: “not many people buy.”

That’s why, in the in-depth review, which comes after a first call and costs $500 as a one-time payment, I start by sitting down with you to understand what you want: more clients, more time, or both.

Then I look at how you work today and draw every step your client takes, from their first message to the moment they pay.

So you see with your own eyes where they leave. No fancy terms, no sheet full of columns. I draw it out, and you get it at a glance.

Now you know where to look. And if you want, I set it up so that gap closes on its own: you get a heads-up when someone stalls halfway, people get a reply right away, and whoever booked gets reminded of their appointment.

If you want to see how I do it, it’s all in how I work.

What changes when this is handled

Today you close the month knowing what came in, but not why more didn’t. You make decisions in the dark. And next month the same mistake can repeat without you noticing.

Once it’s handled, you know which step clients leave at and why. No more guessing: you decide based on what’s really happening in your business.

Do you know which step your clients leave at?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find out why people ask but don’t buy?

You need to look at each step on its own: how many ask, how many book, how many show up, and how many buy. Once you see it that way, it’s obvious which step most people leave at, and that’s where you need to look.

Do I need to be good with numbers to understand this?

No. I show it to you drawn out, step by step, in everyday words. You don’t have to open a spreadsheet or read any charts.

What happens after the in-depth review?

You walk away with every step drawn out and what’s holding you back the most. If you want to keep going, I set it up bit by bit so that gap closes on its own. If not, you know where to look and can decide for yourself what to change.
